This was very helpful information Pat.. thank you for the very information on health... one of the best podcast out there
Chinese started eating sesame seed oil from 200 BCE, soybean oil since 600AD, rapeseed oil since 1AD. These are all seed oil. (Edit, in relation to seed oil)This guy has no clue what he is talking about.
Of course in the early 1900, heart attack is low because the average life span in US was less than 50 years old, the average age of the first heart attack in U.S. now is over 60 years old. So... Majority of the people were already dead from something else before their first heart attack.
Please post link to protein Lineage meat sticks
Thanks for having me, Patrick! 👊 It was great meeting you and hopefully this is helpful for some of your folks!
Thank you !🙏
Thank you for the great advice. Are you against getting fluoride during a routine cleaning at the dentist?
Bang energy drinks use methylcobalamin. Are they good to drink?
So thankful for this episode
I've been reading labels the past 15 years or so, driving friends and family crazy!
Gave up caffeine earlier in the year but back on... yikes
I started a carnivore two months ago I’ve lost 39 pounds and I’ve never felt so good in my entire life and I’m 41
Atkins diet is the best
Don’t forget the fruit 🍉
Same here. I've been carnivore for 3 months now. I've lost 15lbs, and I have no more cravings for snacks and junk food.
@@darriusdeburgh7333You don't need fruit.
I did his first 4 steps on my own and I've lost 45 lbs in the last year and a half. My vice is coffee creamer. I'm 52 and in the best shape of my life.
I've given up rice, pasta, noodles, ramen and a lot of processed food.
I walk 8000 steps per day on average
Ive lost 80lbs in the last 12 months.
I went from 6XL to 2XL.
Waist went from 62" to 40"
Energy is amazing
Sleep is incredible
Gut health is the key to a great life ❤🎉😊
FANTASTIC job man - Keep it up! WELL DONE!!
That is so inspiring to hear!❤ keep up the good work.
So many Asian Countries, Japan, etc... Eat Rice Daily and are very healthy... Many even eat Pastas daily.. Is it really the rice and pasta? Something to contemplate ...
So what do you eat daily
@Snowlys salad, fresh veggies, fruits, dried fruits and nuts, soups, protein (tofu, paneer, chicken, peas, kidney beans), lots of water and atleast 8k to 10k walking, protein and multivitamin supplements, weight training for arms, back, legs and upper body to avoid losing muscle mass. All men need to do this especially over 40
Hope this helps 😊🤝🙌
This was the first PBD podcast I watched from start to finish, nonstop. This is the kind of information humanity needs right now. Excellent job Paul and phenomenal questions Patrick
Last I checked it was 2025. It is hard to believe people don't know this stuff already.
Paul is under rated , very smart man and I hope he explodes even more ! Nice touch having the wife join the pod at the end 👍🏽
Learnt so much from Paul saladino, and listened to his podcast too
Early to bed, early to rise, makes a man healthy, wealthy and wise.
This is an old Ben Franklin quote my pawpaw used to tell me growing up.
I do this and I’m broke cuz the ex takes half my money 😂
I'll go to bed when I get good and ready. I'll get up if I feel like it.
@@Mr.Coffee20255your name is mr.coffee you have weak mindset, failure is near. Don’t be like this guy! Eat healthy sleep early and work hard!
@Fightconmemes 😂Ur weak for calling me weak.
Not being weak is weak
I started carnivore/ketovore a month ago. Healing my body and mind. God is GOOD.
Ironically it’s very stressful on your body
@@aaronharman5431 There are very positive studies on Keto. Why is it stressful for your body??
Over 5 years animal based. I consume some hydrating fruits too, zero processed meats, zero coffee. I avoid fully cooked meats as I have noticed my body digests raw meat much easier and sleep is even better than before.
try to introduce some fruit and veg , slowly over time. you can always do keto on cycle type. 1 month on , 1 off. give it a go , it will prolong your lifespan
@ Vegetables are 100% not necessary, but not the worst thing in the world. Some hydrating fruits are OK.
Eat meat dairy and fruits.
I cured my life long depression doing this. I am a new man.
And nuts too.
Ever try avoiding the fruits? You’ll feel even better!
@@SeekJesus27you have to be white…cause I would be clogged up just eating meat not including the parasites and worms that comes with it
@@SeekJesus27 I only eat some watery fruits like water melons separately. This is to have insulin spikes and a bit of glucose to signal abundance to my system. High fiber fruits makes me blotted. I have noticed avoiding glucose long term was putting my body in stress due to stress hormones involved. A bit of fruits fixed it.
@ sounds good. Did you know that your body creates all the glucose you need through glucose neogenesis?
I appreciate you Paul Saldino for caring enough to share, thank you!🙏🏼❤️👏🏼
This was one of my favorite podcasts thus far! This doctor was spot on, God bless these people
My daughter was diagnosed with cervical cancer. Immediately changed her diet. Months of no sugar, no fruit, high protein, ultra low carb. Went in for biopsy, Doctor injected fluid to light up cancer cells which she previously found had spread to the edge of her cervix…. 0 lit up. Doc couldn’t believe it. So she repeated test. 0 cancer cells. The doctor was shocked.with the results. My daughter still follows her eating habits to stay cancer free. Oh, and she has used artificial sweeteners for years, and continues to. Do what works for you.
Cervical cancer diagnosis is bogus half the time.
Amen 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Cervical cancer tests have an incredibly high rate of false positives. She may have just gotten lucky there.
Please consider advising her to stop the artificial sweeteners, which are known carcinogens.
@@RunninUpThatHillhhi! Your comment is so interesting to me! I’ve often wondered this myself… I feel like it’s been about the medical system just coming up with more ways to create more patients, which equates to more money… is that what you have thought? I’d be so interested in hearing if you’ve read things on this!
Amazing to hear. Congratulations!
This is one of the better podcasts I watched. There are no ideologies from neither side, no lies, just pure science. I hope people are gonna wake up after this.
When I was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer I had to have a PET scan. I could only eat protein (eggs, cheese, nuts, meat, etc.) and drink water for 3 days before because sugar/carbs would throw off the scan. I actually felt better in just 3 days. I was eating less and the food was filling. It's amazing how food impacts you so easily
God bless you fight fight fight love you my friend
@@Godismiracles18 Thank you! 2025 marks the 10th anniversary of my diagnosis. Chemo and radiation -- I wouldn't wish that on my worst enemy
Same with a cholesterol test, no sugars a couple days before test
We drink water because we are told 70 percent of our body is water…. That is a statement that leads you too believe the water is from your hair too your toes. The water is mainly in your muscles.
So since we now know the statement should be 70 percent of our muscles are water. We know why we need to prioritise protein over any food. Just like we drink water over Andy drink
That's because they use glucose during the pet scan to light up the cancer cells . Tumors/ cancers consume glucose to survive and grow. If your body is void of sugars, it makes the tumors visible on the scan. Common sense should tell us that if the cells survive and love sugars, then if you take away the sugar, the cancer will die. Yet what do they offer after chemo? Sugary snacks and sugary fruit juice. Ensure, which is full of carbs. (For "nutrition ") people are shrinking their cancers by being in therapeutic ketosis. The studies are happening. And big farma ain't happy. Just eat animal proteins and low carbs, and the one ingredients foods and watch most of your chronic illnesses disappear. Did it for me. I weighed 268, had high bp,high sugars, and I did this, have lost 82 lbs, blood pressure was normal after 3 weeks, and my glucose was normal after 3rd month. Took one year to get to@ 188. Have stayed the same weight for 2 years now, and my average glucose number is 98. I took my blood pressure yesterday, and it was 116/72. Had to stop taking meds for BP after it dropped too low in that first month. I feel 30 years younger! I suggest everyone at least give it a try. I used to think I felt good. But I didn't know what good felt like until I truly got well metabolically. Insulin is also a growth hormone that helps tumors grow. It's best to keep that low. The low carb eating. (Less than 30 grams per day) Good luck, folks! Just try it for 30 days and see what I'm talking about! 😊
Edit: I'm 59 years old.
Very very informative podcast. Thank you PBD and Paul for speaking the truth and exposing the lies of the food industry
Props for having the Big Saladino On! ❤💯🙏🙌🔥
Great information. Keep spreading awareness about what is going into our foods! Hopefully RFK can bring integrity back to our food supply.

@@bruceasaert4055 do you guys eat meat?
@IAmTheGreatest514 why
1:52:20 - THANK YOU for covering Food Stamps.
I worked 2/3 of my life at our family owned convenient store, and I can absolutely tell you from personal experience that over 90% of our Food Stamp sales were for soda, candy, chips, and later energy drinks. Oh, and bags of ice for people to put in ice chests to keep their beer cold.
They could eliminate all food stamps tonight, and I will absolutely sleep like a baby because of it.
Yup, you don't know economics
@ynohtnazehcnas91 How does my views and personal experiences that people shouldn't buy junk food on food stamps imply that I don't know economics?
As far as economics are concerned, it actually disrupted the free market economics of our store because we had to keep a higher supply of those items that people bought so much on food stamps. Also, that's a major reason Red Bulls were priced higher than other energy drinks at my store early on, and still outsold those other energy drinks. Red Bull was one of the few energy drinks at the time that was still considered a soft drink while all other drinks (Rockstar, Monster, etc) were labeled as a Supplement, and couldn't be bought on food stamps. Thats why Rockstar and Monster drinks are less potent than they were 15 years ago to meet the classification of being a soft drink, so they were food stamp eligible.
Just a nice little "econonomics" history lesson for you on the subject.
@itchyisvegeta the fact that you stated try economics and then say to eliminate food stamps let's me know you have no idea what you're talking about 😂 food stamps were designed for a reason. Be sure when you are eligible for them, you decline them, don't be a hypocrite
@@ynohtnazehcnas91 Tell me you didn't read nor understand my reply without telling me you didn't read nor understand my last reply.
Good day to you, sir

Ask Paul “ if the coffee was mold and fungus free would you drink it if percolated in a stainless steel percolator? World of difference from a $6.00 cup of coffee purchased at Starbucks in a plastic coated cup.
Much respect to Paul! He's knowledgeable and a very thoughtful person.

His excitement for this topic makes me excited to be on this clean journey for the past few weeks. Im 40...and have the energy I had when I was in my 20s again. I also have the best sleep ive had in awhile as well as being in the best shape I have ever been

I love how Pat called his wife and his cook 💯
I followed Paul for several years, this was a well presented refresher podcast, keep it up PBD and Paul. BTW, having grown up on a farm we had intuitive knowledge and new all this food stuff in the 1960s.
Absolute phenomenal discussion gentlemen. Paul is an absolute wealth of knowledge and has changed my life dramatically following him over the last 12 months. Pat, always a joy to listen to you steer the conversation. 👏👏
I love Paul so much! Thanks PBD for having him on.
I'm 63. I grew up in NE PA, on a family farm. We grew up eating the beef that we raised and the vegetables we grew and harvested. Granted - I don't miss the hard work, or cleaning shoveling the shit out of the barn in the winter - but I do miss how good that food tasted. I plan on eating beef until the day I die. This was a very interesting conversation, and a bit scary too. I'm looking forward to trying Mr. Saladino's beef stick products. I ordered some while listening to your discussion.
Former exercise scientist and personal trainer here: Wow I listened to Paul’s stuff back when he first hit the scene like 7 years back and it is very nice to see him not have to be polarizing to gain viewers anymore! I knew he was bullshitting when he was saying all plants are bad for you and that pepper was and shit and he was wild but always had good science behind his carnivore claims. Fast forward to now and he’s so fucking on point and rational and logical and this is the most beneficial health podcast you could listen to.
This was great! We need to talk about this more. Husband and I are cleaning out our pantry today!
I have listeners to Paul Saladino for quite awhile. Especially when he experimented with the carnivore diet and now has modified it to his needs. Loved this…esp when all the carnivore diet “explorers” (like myself) were gettin incredible results and feeling great. These people, many of them actually MDs, (S. Baker, E. Westman, A. Chaffe, to name a few) have been leaders in questioning how the “food” we eat might be making us ill and pointing out through human evolution that we mostly ate meat not veggies and that’s what grew our brains. They discovered how the “crap” in our “food” was making us ill as well as how major food manufacturers are deliberately manufacturing food to be almost “addictive”. I hope RFKjr will be able to change some of the ways food is manufactured and labeled.
Praying over your food and having gratitude for it goes a long way. Eat the best that you can but don’t stress over it. You might be healthier than an ungrateful eater.
The Bible says to take care of the temple of the Holy Spirit. So, praying over terrible food that’s unhealthy for you is not going to do you any good. You can be grateful to God for providing and eat healthy at the same time.
If you pray from your heart the frequency changes all around you. It is measurable.
You underestimate the power of my GOD !!!🙏
Quit acting like Christians aren’t dying from heart attacks, cancer, diabetes, high blood pressure etc. like everybody else. The majority of the people in the Church are overweight and unhealthy. A lot of the pastors on stage preaching are overweight and unhealthy and drinks way too much.
The Bible said that my people are dying from a lack of knowledge. So; if you know the food you are eating is bad for you and still overeating it during week, praying over it is not going to change the fact that you eating bad food that effects your body in a negative way.
We supposed to be the hands and feet of God but you a lot of us can even walk a mile without being out breath.
I’m not saying never eat this and never eat that. I like Taco Bell and I have it once in a while. I like the McDonals cheeseburger and I will have once in a blue moon, I can eat honey buns all day but I don’t. Praying over your food is great but nowhere in the Bible does it says God will miraculously change a no nutrient food into a nutrient rich food if we pray over it.
Bad food is bad food. Period.
@@dsen2283 That’s not correct. Praying over the best food you can obtain, even if it’s kinda crappy, will sustain you.
God bless you all, I’m so happy you are sharing this! We need to educate all in this. My daughter has been fighting cancer 9 years on and off and could t figure why she kept relapsing and changed our diet and thanks to God we have it in control with no therapy and using healthy whole food diet, mushroom supplements like turkey tail, chaga etc
Taking advice from Paul has significantly changed my life for the better.
I will follow a lot of advice here but coffee, man I can’t live without it. I drink coffee every morning which is helping me to do intermitting fasting. So my first meal usually around 6-7 hrs from waking up.
1. Seed oils. 2. Sodas ( we call it fizzy drinks in the UK ) 3. Ultra processed foods 4. Alcohol. 5. Cereals. All 'banned' from our house.
Our 3 and 10 year old dont know any different now. Steak and eggs for breakfast ... imagine that. We live in the UAE where everything can be delivered around the clock. Obesity and childhood diabetes in a big issue. Almost more fast food joints per square mile as there is stateside. and yet the whole food movement is dynamic and expanding quickly. However i wish we had CostCo or something similar. Shopping here is really tough and only slowly improving.
Keep up the good work guys.
Such an important message to get out, thank you so much Pat for this discussion. Dr. Paul Saladino was awesome and clearly knows his stuff.
We stopped buying stuff that came in boxes….no cereal, crackers, fake food basically.
Yup. People should almost exclusively shop on the outsides of the grocery store, not the middle isles..
Rule of thumb that i teach: If it comes in cellophane and is ready to eat; DON'T EAT IT.
Thank you so much for getting Dr. Saladino on your podcast. He is one of the doctors who helped me change my life. Amazing. He knows what he is talking about.
I just started carnivore yesterday and I honestly already feel better and have lost a few pounds. Doing a 90 day challenge and hope to heal from several aches and pains that have crept up and have hindered my work as a Jeweler.
I think this was the most productive video Pat has posted in over a year
Very important conversation, his reference to CRISCO replacing butter is inaccurate. Crisco was marketed to replace lard. It looked exactly like it. As a kid I remember seeing both and not knowing the difference. Crisco was marketed much better for sure. I have avoided seed oils and eat nothing but animal fat my whole life. But I agree with everything this guy is saying regarding ingredients. I buy almost nothing in a box. I make my own pancake mix because they all have some sort of aluminum in them now.??
The only difference I have with your guest is I believe it was all a vast conspiracy to undermine our health to make us more vulnerable to what we've witnessed in this last administration... The destruction of our culture to get rid of the first and second amendment with the objective of establishing a one-world government.
I know that sounds outrageous, but so was COVID, Hunter biden's laptop, JFK assassination, 9/11 being an inside job...
Hopefully people start to eat healthy and those healthy minds will begin to perceive things a lot better.
You are 100% right regarding Crisco and lard. I was thinking exactly the same thing. I guess a younger generation would not remember. I do. My mom used lard for everything. We were scared away from it by the Crisco and veg oil adds back in the 60s and 70s.
So it seems like your food diet is very healthy. Can I ask how is your health in general?
@Astral100 me? Excellent. My father had serious heart problems and died early. But my heart rating is a zero out of 100. Which is perfect at age 58.
I'm on no medications and I exercise regularly.
100% correct. Anyone who says different doesn't know what they're talking about
It was margarine that was propped up as the healthy alternative to butter.
The reason podcaster like pbd and rogan are huge is because theyre REAL!🇺🇸👏🏼🇺🇸👏🏼🇺🇸👏🏼🇺🇸
Equally as important as the food we eat is getting to a point of intermittent fasting. A follow up discussion with Dr. Jason Fung would be advisable and great.
fasting is retarded. do you sun your balls too
I learn so much when i listen to Paul... thankyou for this podcast ❤
Great podcast the truth needs to be told!
For me... this is what has helped me get my health back: No seed oils, no artificial or so- called 'natural' flavorings, packaged foods, etc. I'm mostly carnivore. Single ingredient foods are a good way to start. I'm not perfect eating this way (85-95%), but it really makes a HUGE difference in my health. I'm in my 60s, and I'm not on any meds! Low to normal BP and excellent blood work. Also, I have a countertop water filteration system (Skokk) and drink tons. I also take Andrew Lessman supplements. Getting enough exercise is my biggest issue, and I am working on it. So do what works for you. Experiment and see how you feel. There's no need to hate on Dr Paul. He was one of many that I've listened to. The more people you listen to, the more information, the better.... for me. Others might just get confused. Do your research and use critical thinking skills. Good luck to all! ❤
Oh my, exactly the same here. It's like you're my twin. Except I distill my water.

1:37:40. Here in Scotland🏴 we don’t have added fluoride in our water. Thank God.
Probably because you guys only drink buckfast
Really?
They couldn’t believe they found microplastic in Antarctica , in deep core samples . If as just said fluoride is naturally occurring , I doubt , and for a Scotland . If you water is 300PPM I’d be suprised and probably drink it .
Hey Patrick! And gentlemen! Eating right is great….Breathing well is extraordinary! Many over look this vital aspect that drives ALL functions to health. Let’s chat.
I have had sleep issues since at least high school. I am 51 now. I always lay in bed for a while before I can fall asleep no matter how tired I am. And, without fail, I always wake up after sleeping no more than about 4 hours. Sometimes sooner. But I honestly have a hard time understanding how anyone sleeps a full 8 hours without waking up. I wish I could do that because I can't imagine how I would feel the next day.
Same here. Have read several medical journals that say that the pineal gland in the brain controls the sleep wake cycle. Fluoride calcifies the pineal gland which disrupts the sleep wake cycle. Calcified pineal gland also leads to other health issues.
Try listening to classical music at a feint low level while laying down and and attempting to sleep. Make sure your sleep environment has little to no light. No television an hour before sleeping, as television is disruptive to brain activity, and after waking up from 4 hours asleep, don’t get out of your sleeping position. Daylight savings time switches both times a year are also disruptive, so if you can try to stay on the same schedule all year round. If you sleep at 10 pm and your time moves back an hour, go to bed at 9 pm. These things were instituted to benefit the corporate system and not the human body. Once you get everything into alignment, you will see how less modern you are operating compared to how people function now. You will train your body to function in more of a natural state and then you will sleep longer. Oh and no phones by any means, put the phone away in a drawer or another room.

@ since I was a kid? I have tried supplementing that with no change. Even tried sleeping pills. The only thing that actually allowed me to fall asleep faster was alcohol. And I cant be doing that every night haha
Love seeing Paul Saladino on the PBD podcast. Great info as always.
As a South African, my biggest shock, when I first went to the US is just how much is available EVERYWHERE and finding healthy food is almost NOWHERE!
We are a nation of gluttonous food addicts. My work as a personal trainer never ends.
You'll find it if you look.
SO excited for this conversation, the changes upon us now, and the wild west of this time we are in!! MAHA!!!!!!! Our kids N E E D THIS! ❤
Wow this is the first Time I have ever seen an actually interesting podcast!
Kudos to the team!
No conspiracy theories, no politics, just pure good information for the average joe.
You know theres thousands of podcasts out there? What does that even mean? You can just simply avoid the podcasts involving politics if that’s not your thing…
Wow this podcast was amazing! I enjoyed every minute of it!
Very informative podcast PBD thank you for this!! 💪🏽
I will be studying Paul Saladino thanks to you PBD appreciate it man
Awesome you had Paul on to spread the word on food. Thank you
I've been preaching all this for a year and everyone at my work hates me for this.
You're not alone in this. If that's the case, just do you and stay on track. 🥩💪👍
Same here, ive been preaching this in my family but some of them are so brainwashed, its truly incredible to listen to the lies they have been told.
One of them is a cancer researcher and he says RED MEAT causes COLON CANCER. The ignorance is truly incredible with some.
Don’t preach
I feel the same to my family but I got to do better setting example I have not stopped the gym for a year but I have to work on the freaking chips and beer
They won't start to hate you anymore 'till the doctor tells them the news.
PBD I’m so glad you’re interviewing Paul Saladino! Please also consider Dr Ken Berry. I’m excited to get this information into the larger viewership. You’re doing God’s work, PBD, by showing us how to be healthier. I literally cannot persuade my family to go carnivore or ketovore because they’ve never seen anything about how harmful 80% of what’s in the stores can be, and how this healthier lifestyle can resolve metabolic disease and the many autoimmune diseases associated with it. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Dr Berry is great. Shawn baker is also phenomenal.
Yes! I like Dr. Paul!
Yes! Dr. Berry and Dr. Baker would be great!
Yes Dr. Ken Berry is wonderful. Proper Human Diet!
You don't need to pay $60+ dollars for 3 small bags of beef jerky. You can make excellent quality beef jerky at home very easily.
Truth, I do it on my smoker frequently!
@@rasbeans51yep and delicious too especially after hot off the smoker !! Yeaaaas ❤❤ and it lasts months or year sooo it’s amazing y’all please marinate it and pepper it up London broil sliced is great cheap quality way btw but either steak 🥩 is alright too but yea
And it's way BETTER for you. My husband makes it all the time. It tastes better too
I make it in a dehydrator out of deer meat.
My 4 incher became a 10 incher simply by eating a carnivore and keto diet. Fellas, if that hasn’t sold you? Nothing will.
We only believe evidences, aka pictures.
need much, much more of this!
I have suffered type two diabetes for 11+yrs and lost 70% muscle mass 56 yrs old and my focus within the next 4 yrs is to establish a better health for the years ahead, but primarily to be diabetic FREE. This topic for the first time, has been hopeful for my future. Thank you David for the quality guests that this pod cast has presented the most reputable public broadcast that focus on integrity and ethical topics so refreshing due to mainstream corrupt propaganda media I pray for you daily and your household bless you 🙏
As a leading Wellness expert I can tell you that Paul really knows his stuff
Really? Like the Carnivore diet he pitched for years that eventually made him sick? Or being business partners with the Liver King? 🤦🏼♂️
Love it! Big fan of Dr. Saladino!
This has been the best podcast ever!!!!
Great info ! Thanks Dr Saladino !!!
This is no longer a simple podcast, but a "infopod" great great information for us to consume.
Let’s go PBD IVE BEEN LISTENING TO THIS GUYS FOR YEARS!
Been waiting for this!!
Thank you PBD. This the best podcast learning more on how to eat properly.
Loved hearing from Jennifer! You should think about having her on more often. As a mother myself she can give her view point in some topics
$60 for a bag of healthy beef jerky dude?! This is why we’re so fucked. Everything that’s good is WAY out of reach.
Until we figure out how to make healthy foods accessible to everyone we’re just spinning wheels pissing in the wind.
*edit - I now realize they are 3-packs so that comes out to about $71 with shipping. It’s still really hard to get good stuff!
It’s for a 3 pack but I agree still a rip off
That's for a 3 pack, and once you break that down and also factor in protein per pack, it's about the same as most good quality jerky you would find in stores. If it's cheap jerky it has all the BS and chemicals and unnecessary added flavors (and carbs somehow...?), so it's actually very competitively priced for a small company!
AGREE!!!
@@StaySlayin ahhh good call I definitely missed that!
I’m prob just frustrated with our healthy food choices in general. TBH we’re to blame for allowing it IG lol.
